The Interferência Project hails originally from Barcelona, and intended to show the public/passersby artistic interventions in public spaces.
In 2008 we kick-started S.P.O.T.’s activity with Interferência Porto. With no support but with a lot of willpower, we invited a group of artists to interfere on a tram (graciously provided by the Tram Museum). The paintings were done at the terminus of line 1, opposite St. Francis’ church, while inside the tram the sound was in the capable hands of Dj MarlOn. On the next day the tram circulated around the city with free admission, and took several students from the schools in the city centre for a ride.
